When I was uploading my Cascade virus video yesterday, I found a lot of interesting videos on the same topic. I enjoyed them thoroughly. I am listing the ones that I found interesting here to make things easy for others to find these videos easily. Hope you like this list too.

Do let me know if you come across any such videos online, I am a big sucker for these :)

Following "In Action" videos were all uploaded by onNeutral. Professionally done. excellent stuff! I haven’t included any info on the worms/virii he talks about, as he has added more than enough info in the videos (read the red ticker bar to the bottom in all these videos)

1) In Action: Blaster Worm

See the Blaster worm attack another computer and how both of them attack a simulated http://windowsupdate.com server.

2) In Action: Melissa Worm

3) In Action: Casino de Malte Virus

4) In Action: The ILoveYou Worm

5) In Action: The Cascade virus

6) In Action: The Netsky.z worm

7) In Action: The Blaster worm

8) In Action: The Sasser worm

9) In Action: The Hippi virus

10) In Action: HSBC Phishing attack

11) In Action: Browser Hijack

The following videos are by Ripspawnguild.

12) AIDS Virus

13) 37 Virus Payloads in one video

This is one of the best virus payloads collection video available online. It covers the following virii: Blink, Chinese, CeCe, Crash, Spellbound, Sparta2K, Skynet, Shifter, ScreenMI, Redcode, Pyramid, nameless/Countdown, MTZ, meta1103, Markiz, marina/marine, marawi, malmsey, LsD, LittleBrother, Kuku, Kucak, Italian (not bouncing ball), I-13, Hymn, Hydra, Hate, Ambulance/Hafe, Ha!, Girls, Froll, Zohra, Zhu, Virdem, Tucuman, Techno, Stunning Blow.

(I am not sure if some of the above virii are for real — looks more like a prank to me.)

I found multiple copies of the following videos. Proper credits to the *original* uploaders. Thanks for sharing these online.

14) The newton "virus" for MAC.

This virus makes all the icons/toolbars fall down to the bottom, following all physics laws. Though this looks cool and highlights Mac’s capabilities, I doubt it is *actually* a virus.

15) W32/SmitFraud in action

16) I-Love-You virus in action

17) Adware.DollarRevenue in action

Wanna see popups?

18) McAfee SiteAdvisor video (goggle.com)

Good one showing lots of payloads.

19) HotSnow

I see only Sun-belt corp. dealing with/reporting this trojan. This could one of those cases of "I-write-and-I-provide-the-cleaner-too" scenario. Anyway, I am including this video here. Judge for yourself.

20) Norton Antivirus installed in an infected machine: Ineffective??

This video shows a machine already infected with a worm, sending out mails to lots of addresses, while NAV (which was installed after the infection) happily allows all of them out with out identifying the virus. Scary, eh?

21) What can be done with BiFrost?

More info on Bifrost here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bifrost_(trojan_horse)

BiFrost capabilities are showcased in this video. Looks better than the crappy netmeeting that I am forced to use in my office :)
